CAREER HISTORY

Derek is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of progressive financial, operational and negotiating experience within the engineering, real estate development and construction industries. He is recognized as a leader in the Ottawa marketplace, who has been directly responsible for the origination, execution and development of over five million square feet of real estate and construction in the office, industrial and residential sectors representing over $2.0B dollars of economic activity. Currently, Derek holds the position of Vice-President of Development for Taggart Realty Management and is responsible for the oversight of all the company’s development projects. Previously, Derek has held senior positions with Zibi Canada, Windmill Development Group and Broccolini Construction.
